C-Print face mount is available only for table-use sizes up to 20x30cm. We use an ultra clear film to mount a C-Print on the back side of a polished acrylic (usually with a thickness between 1cm to 3cm). A black silky paper at 300gr. on the backside is used for the finishing of the product. This is a unique option for office and home decoration. Furthermore this can be a perfect photo gift!
Face mount prints have a lifetime of up to 10 years or even more, as defined by the certifications provided by the manufacturing companies, without these being at the same time a guarantee of lifetime and this because there can be no control as to the conditions in which the prints are presented at the end. It is not archival material and therefore, we do not recommend it for permanent applications that require a long life.
These certifications tests have been carried out under specific exposure conditions, such as indoor use, no sunlight or uv radiation, 20˚C – 28˚C temperature, 60% humidity and absence of environmental or other air pollution. Any deviation from the above can reduce the lifespan and affect the quality of the prints. Under normal conditions of sun exposure (direct or even reflected), the lifespan can be reduced to less than 5 years. Photolab Athens informs about the certifications of each method by the manufacturing companies, but does not guarantee the lifetime of the prints.
